Dr. Viranchi Shah
Non-Executive, Independent Director
Dr. Viranchi Shah is a Non-Executive, Independent Director of Senores Pharmaceuticals Limited. He is a pharmacist, entrepreneur and pharmaceutical industry leader with over 25 years of experience spanning industry leadership, policy engagement, international trade, education and institution building.
A Gold Medalist from L. M. College of Pharmacy, Dr. Shah holds an MBA and a Ph.D. in Business Administration. He is a Promoter and Director of the Saga Group, a family-led pharmaceutical enterprise with over four decades of industry presence.
He currently serves as National Spokesperson of the Indian Drug Manufacturers’ Association (IDMA), having previously served as its National President from 2022 to 2024. He is also a Committee of Administration Member of PHARMEXCIL and has held leadership positions with the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI).
He has also represented the Indian pharmaceutical industry on high-level Government trade delegations to the UAE and Uzbekistan, and serves on the Department of Pharmaceuticals’ Search & Selection Committee for the MD of Bengal Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals Limited. Dr. Shah has contributed to Government committees on pharmaceutical policy and regulatory matters and has represented the Indian pharmaceutical industry at international trade and business forums. He is also actively associated with pharmaceutical education, innovation and institution building through various academic and industry platforms.
Beyond industry and policy, Dr. Shah is closely engaged with pharmaceutical education and institution building, serving as a Trustee of LAARS and a Mentor at the Atal Incubation Centre, L. M. College of Pharmacy. Through his diverse experience across entrepreneurship, industry advocacy, policy, international trade and education, Dr. Shah brings strategic insight and a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical ecosystem.
